RGS Jr. High Reward Trip

By Watkins, Angie

The second quarter junior high reward trip to the ski resort was enjoyed by all. Although skiing is a challenging sport, many of our Raccoon students met the challenge and enjoyed an afternoon of skiing down the slopes. For some it was their first time ever on skis. If you’ve never been to a ski resort, you probably don’t know that you must pass a test before they set you free to ski on even the bunny hill. You must show your ability to put skis on or take them off after a fall, show your ability to stop, prove that you understand how to maneuver on the snow without getting injured or injuring someone else. Our students met the challenge! Thanks for encouraging your children to meet their goals and show good citizenship so they can continue to enjoy these great experiences.
