Today is a 2pm Dismissal!
Congratulations to Raquel Vittitow for winning the RGS Spelling Bee and Kooper Wilkins for being the Runner Up. Both 8th graders will represent RGS at the ROE Spelling Bee on Tuesday, February 18, at Centralia Junior High School.


Attention

During the month of November, more classes in Marion County received classroom gifts through the "Adopt a Classroom" fundraiser for AITC held earlier in the year. Meggan Hiestand, Ag in the Classroom (AITC) Coordinator for Marion County, delivered the gifts during her November AITC lessons on farm machinery. Raccoon Grade School received a tractor.

Congratulations to the RGS Varsity Scholar Bowl team of Captain Kooper Wilkins, Mickey Little, Dylan Coffman, Raquel Vittitow, Hailey Adock, and Mason Gallatin-Beecher for being Consolation Champs in the Oil Belt Conference!
Additionally, Kooper Wilkins and Mickey Little made the All-Tournament Team!
We are so proud of you all!




The rest of the spirit wear will be coming home today. Please check your child's backpack. If you do not receive your order today, please call the school on Monday and let us know.
Congratulations to Raquel Vittitow for placing 1st in the Salem Elks Essay Contest. Her essay will now move to the regional competition.
Also, congratulations to Mason Gallatin-Beecher for placing 2nd in the Salem Elks Essay Contest.
Last night, students were awarded at the monthly meeting. Mrs. Johannes and Ms. Herman joined the students, their families, and Elks members to honor our students!
