Reminder...The organizational meeting for Raccoon Pee Wee is tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. A parent or guardian of a participant should plan to attend this meeting.

The Raccoon Grade School Board of Education is accepting resumes for a boys’ basketball coach
girls' basketball coach and
cheerleading coach
for the 2023-2024 school year. Send a letter of interest, resume, references, and a copy of any certifications by September 15, 2023 to: Superintendent, Raccoon Grade School, 3601 State Route 161, Centralia, Illinois 62801.
Just a reminder ...Your K-8th student is required to have 1 pair of white soled tennis shoes or non -marking soles shoes.
All shoes will be kept in classroom or locker.
Shoes will be changed into in P.E. If your child does NOT change into P.E shoes, no participation points will be given in P.E and your child will sit out.

2. Parents should not park in the loop to go into the school.
3. Please pull up to the #4 pole at all times and the next car should pull up right behind them & so on.
4. Parents who have to get their kids out of car seats, may do so. If your child is not in a car seat , please do not get out of your vehicle in the drop off lane.

Tomorrow is the Last day of Shriner's Week. Tomorrow morning we will take any last minute donations for Team Salem or Team Centralia. There is also a drawing for a student to pie the losing Mayor in the face. $1 per entry. Enter as many times as you would like. There are only about 5 names in there now. Who will be the lucky one to pied the Mayor!!

Mrs. Mary's Blue Bus will be making some changes to the bus route . Some stops are being switched around. Times will be different for stops. Please bare with us as our awesome bus drivers try to manage the routes being short handed. After changes made today , Blue bus route will be set.
