All boys trying out for baseball. If you have not returned your basketball uniform...YOU MUST DO SO...You may bring basketball uniform to the Baseball tryouts to be turned in. This is a MUST..

Online Registration will open for Raccoon Grade School on Tuesday, July 8th! Online registration will close Monday, July 14th at 12am.Online Registration is completed in Teacher ease. In-Person Registration is Thursday, July 10 from 9am-6pm. If you are unable to complete the process of online registration or do not have the ability to do online registration, you must do in-person registration. If you are attempting to complete online registration and system will not let you. You must bring 2 forms of Residency up to the school office to complete registration. Your student will not be registered or be able to attend the first day of school if you have not completed online or in-person registration.

RGS Softball Try-outs! Friday, July 11th from 9:30am-11:30am & Monday, July 14th from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
RGS Baseball Try-outs! Wednesday, July 16th from 4:30pm-6:30pm & Thursday, July 17th from 4:30pm-6:30pm.
*All athletes (5th-8th grade) must be present both days and have a current sports physical.

It's that time again...

RGS would like to give a shout out to Rob Schnicker with Centralia Little Food Pantries for building this for our school and community. It is stocked with food items and some non-food items too that will help our community members in need. Please feel free to check it out and take any items that you want. Also, we are asking community members to help keep our "RGS Little Food Pantry" stocked. Please place any donations in the pantry and make sure to check expiration dates. Thank you!

The Bus for the 7th grade field trip should be arriving back at the School around 2:25pm for any of these students that will be pick ups.

Due to the possibility of severe weather, we will be dismissing at 2:30 PM today. Pick ups will start dismissing at 2:15 PM This is to ensure that the bus drivers and all students and staff can make it home safely.

STATE Track Meet Results – Murphysboro, Saturday Raccoon School was proudly represented at the State Track Meet in Murphysboro this past Saturday. Our student-athletes delivered outstanding performances: Jorja earned 2nd place in the Shot Put. John secured 3rd place in the Discus. Scout placed 6th in the 1600-meter run, breaking her school record with an impressive time of 5:54.64. Congratulations to all our state qualifiers for their hard work, dedication, and for representing Raccoon School with excellence!

RGS needing Summer Help ...Please Share!

Just a reminder… Today is a 2 PM dismissal!

Attention… Unfortunately, one of our buses is broken down and being worked on. Tomorrow morning the Green Bus route will be approximately 10 minutes early. And the Yellow bus route will Not start until 7:40am. We will have to wait until the Green Bus route is done and returns to school before we can begin the Yellow bus route. These students will not be counted as late and breakfast will be provided once they get to school.
