"Raccoon families, due date for mum order forms are next Wednesday September 10th! Pick ups have been changed to September 17th! It is an early dismissal so pickups will start 2-6."

Raccoon's basketball coach, Eli Dobbs, is going to have OPEN Gym on Sunday, September 7th, 14th, and 21st from 3-4:30 pm. These will be held in the Annex Building behind Centralia High School. All 5th-8th-grade boys are welcome to come if interested in playing for the RGS basketball team.

It's mum season! Student Leadership is selling mums from Country Kids Pumpkin Patch. Forms have been sent home.They are 9 inch pots that are $12. Colors offered are purple, yellow, red orange, and white. Orders and payment (cash or check) are due on September 9th to the main office. Checks can be made payable to Raccoon Grade School. Mums can be picked up September 18th 3-6 pm.

Just a reminder… If your child has any transportation changes, please call the school before 1:30pm or send a yellow daily transportation note. This includes staying after for sports or school events.

Ledger’s birthday is Wednesday. As of right now it looks like he will have to spend it in the hospital in PICU. Since Wednesday is Favorite Team Day for Shriners week we would love to see some “Team Ledger“ shirts! Happy Big 7th Birthday Ledger

Mrs. Mayer’s 7th Grade Science class practiced using microscopes today. They looked at water samples from Lake Centralia!
